Who We Are and Why We Are Doing This

My name is Michel Benarrosh. Since 1995, I have owned three charter yachts managed by The Moorings Company®. I was also one of the founders of the "Moorings Owners Group", an independent association of Moorings® charter yacht owners, not affiliated with The Moorings® Company. For 10 years, I was the Commodore of the association. As such, I have accumulated a very large amount of practical data useful to charterers, existing and potential boat owners.

There is no objective resource exclusively for the yacht charter environment, except when provided by charter brokers and charter companies, which, for obvious reasons, cannot be unbiased. Therefore I decided to make my accumulated knowledge available to everyone interested in the charter scene.

After 5 years, Sailonline.com has grown to a recognized full-fledged service for the yacht charter community.

What We Provide

• Independent information geared exclusively toward the charter environment:
  - For charterers and charter boat owners.
  - For potential owners who wonder what the "real deal" is.

  - Discounted unsold charter weeks from charter companies, exclusively on Sailonline.com.
  - A buy/sell section to buy/sell unused owner's time (what's this?) or exchange it with other owners worldwide. You can even barter your unused owner's time against anything you'd like!

• Data straight from charterers/owners' personal experience:
  - All practical and useful information... No boring philosophy, no monster storm stories, and no tales of that South Indian Ocean crossing you will never do anyway. Magazines do that very well.  We won't.

What We Hope You'll Do

The main concept behind Sailonline.com is one of a community. In a community, the more everyone gives, the more everyone gets! And everyone benefits from everyone else's experience.
